Yea as a disclaimer I have him listed there but he and Klinkhammer could swap up. I just changed it on the blog for clarity purposes. Best to expand on that.
I think the take home point should be that either of those bottom line left wings spots...not very strong options. Here's to hoping Lucas Lessio and/or Chris Brown is ready soon right? |

As usual the Phoenix Coyotes were a bit of a thorn in the side of the Kings last year. Despite taking the season series three games to two, Phoenix was stiff competition in every game except for the March 18th 4-0 blowout at Staples.
Only two teams managed to win the shot-differential (possession/scoring chance proxy) fight against the Kings more than once last season: the Detroit Red Wings and Phoenix Coyotes.
I charted every game in a post for NHLN for a different reason, and found that absolutely fascinating.

Yea it really is and that's a great example of how tough the Coyotes play against the Kings. Great contribution to the conversation Travis, thanks! |

Good read Jason,
I think with the ownership issue behind them for now, they will bounce back from that horrible abbreviated season and I expect them to be a playoff contender again. The scoring on this team has always been by committee so nothing really changes there. |
